Who will drive my car?
All of the Safe Ride chauffeurs are recently retired Police Officers and Detectives, most from the NYPD.

Why would I hire a Safe Ride chauffeur to drive me in my car as opposed to hiring a limousine?
The best way to answer this question is with another question; if something unpleasant occurred, who would you and your family rather be with, a regular limo driver or a law enforcement professional with years of experience in emergency situations?   The choice is clear!

Can I hire a chauffeur on a full time basis?
Yes, we can arrange a chauffeur package to meet your needs. By using Safe Ride you won't have to worry about employer tax withholdings, workers compensation, etc. Safe Ride will handle all of the payroll concerns and provide a back up driver in the event of your chauffeurs vacation or illness.  If you prefer to employ a chauffeur directly we also provide placement services.

I only need a driver occasionally is that a problem?
No, we will drive for you a few times a week, a few times a month or a few times a year.

How do you charge?
Safe Ride charges on an hourly basis rounded up to the next quarter hour.  There is a 4 hour minimum per trip.    Airport drop off and pick up service is available at a lower rate.  Please call for the rate from your area.)

How much do you charge?

Do I pay the driver?
No, we will send you an invoice via e-mail or regular mail.

Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we accept American Express, Master Card and Visa. You may also pay by check.

How do I make a reservation?
Just call us toll-free at 888-990-SAFE. Whenever possible, 48 hours notice is appreciated, however, we can and will work on a shorter schedule if necessary.

What if I need to cancel?
Please call us as soon as possible.

What does the chauffeur wear?
Business attire. However at the clients request we will send a chauffeur in more casual attire. It's your choice.

Can I get the same chauffeur each time?
Yes, we will provide the same driver as often as possible.

When I'm in the car I may talk about pending business transactions?
Not a problem, all of our drivers sign a confidentiality agreement.

What if my meeting ends early, how do I contact the driver?
We recommend that you exchange cell phone numbers with the driver.

Besides chauffeuring, do you offer any other services?  
Safe Ride's main focus is personal chauffeuring, however, through our large network of recently retired Police Officers we do have access to 'the finest of the Finest' when it comes to Private Investigators, Bodyguards and armed security.  We only refer and work with agencies that are fully licensed and bonded in their specific field and pass our background checks.
